The Diocese of Worcester will be celebrating The Season of Creation and the Feast of St Francis with a special Green Mass that has been carefully designed to bring to light the important theme of Catholic Social Teaching, that we are called to protect people and the planet, living our faith in relationship with all of God's creation.
After the Mass, Claire Schaeffer-Duffy ot the Sts. Francis and Therese Catholic Worker in Worcester will share stories from her lifelong work to educate and advocate for non-violence, equity and environmental justice.
Fr. Richard F. Reidy VIcar General of the Diocese of Worcester will be the primary celebrant with other priests concelebrating.
The Mass is planned to support both in-person participation and viewing remotely via Facebook Live.
